This loop trail starts on the east side of North Pleasant Street, across the road from the trail head for the Kidder-Cleveland Clough Trail. The Extension traverses a town-owned parcel that is protected by a conservation easement. The extension loops through mixed hardwoods and skirts a wetland on its southern portion where a bench is provided for nature observation and contemplation. There is little elevation change on the loop. Hikers may encounter some wet ground. There is no parking at the trail head at this time. Parking may be found at the nearby Bittersweet housing and on Main Street.
