The Langenau Brook Trail was resurrected in 2018 by the Wilmot Conservation Commission and the Society for Protection of New Hampshire Forests. The Trail follows the Langenau Brook from a beaver pond at the Messer Road trail head to the Pleasant Lake High Trail, just across the town line into New London. From this intersection, a hiker can make a 2.5-mile loop using the Langenau Forest Trail.
